It was a great ride, but only half what Jaymie ordered. We are going to have to switch back to Nordic Walking to give our “soft parts” time to toughen up a bit. ;o(

Ouch! When I started mountain bike riding a couple of years ago to aid in my weight management it took a while for my soft parts to adjust. Even today on long rides I still suffer a bit. It does get better though if that’s any consolation. Good luck and have fun.

Good to know the pain will diminish. Tomorrow, Monday, we are going to restart our resistance training. We have a “Smith” machine on our covered, back patio. Current information says that even at 66 years of age, weight training is a GOOD THING. Advice we received is “Low weights, high repetitions” We will report our progress. Another bit of good advice was “Warm up and stretch first.” Thanks for the reply, Spokesman Dave
